2012
Mario --

From the day he took office, President Obama has been fighting for us -- whether he's getting Americans back to work, protecting the middle class from Wall Street abuses, or fixing a broken health care system.

As he pushes Congress to pass the American Jobs Act and remains focused on the job we elected him to do, he's counting on us to fight alongside him by organizing our communities for 2012. To help support the President's accomplishments over the last two years -- and his vision for the future -- we need your help bringing more people into this movement now, to help build for the fights ahead.

That's why this Monday, October 3rd, volunteers in Union County will be holding a neighborhood team meeting to map out how we can get out the President's message at the local level -- and we need your input.

Can you make it? Here are the details:

What: Union County neighborhood team meeting

Where: Jerseyland Park Community Center
783 Jerusalem Road
Scotch Plains, NJ 07076

When: Monday, October 3rd
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

RSVP now

Neighborhood teams like the ones we'll be forming at Monday's event are the backbone of any strong grassroots campaign. They are the core of our most important organizing -- registering new voters, recruiting new volunteers, and persuading voters. And the earlier these teams get started reaching out to our fellow New Jerseyans, the farther ahead we'll be by the time things really start to heat up next year.

So from now until Election Day, we need to do everything we can in Union County to champion the President's record of accomplishments, from fighting for jobs and bringing our combat troops home from Iraq to reforming Wall Street and signing the Affordable Care Act into law.

If we continue our organizing in New Jersey now, we'll be able to build on our progress every day until November 2012 -- and at Monday's meeting, we'll take the next steps on the path toward victory.
