I'm writing to ask your opinion‏

Dear friend --

As you may have noticed, we've asked you for a donation a few times now.

But according to our records, you haven't yet made an online donation to this campaign at this email address. (If our records are wrong, I apologize and thank you!)

I'm not writing to ask you for money again. I'm actually writing to ask your opinion about why you haven't given, and what you think would inspire you or other Obama supporters like you to decide to take the leap and donate.

We have two quick questions for you. Can you take a minute to answer them?

There's a good reason we're asking for your feedback: The kind of organization we all decided to be a part of only works if people like you pitch in to build it.

It's also the reason no other candidate has been able to match our level of grassroots support. This isn't the easiest way to run a campaign -- but we know it's the right way.

That's why we want to know what you're thinking.

Please take a minute to answer these two questions today:

http://my.barackobama.com/Your-Support-In-2012

Thanks so much,

Rufus

P.S. -- Of course, if you'd like to become one of our million-plus grassroots donors today, by all means, please make a donation of $3 or whatever you can afford.

Obama - Biden
Mario --

Karl Rove tweeted about you.

When he heard about our Two-Term Fund, he tweeted:

"Saw another @BarackObama fund appeal for $3 gift. Good mktg or forced by low enthusiasm? Bet many upset 08 donors are taking pass this year."

We often ask people for $3 because we believe as many people as possible should take ownership of the political process. It's easy to understand why that might not compute to the guy doing a lot of the selling for a party bought and sold by special interests.

Since we launched the Two-Term Fund Wednesday afternoon, 41,978 people have stepped up and chipped in an average of $40.63 each.

Can you help -- with $3 or whatever you can afford?

It's telling that Karl Rove is planning to raise hundreds of millions of dollars for the 2012 campaign -- but hasn't endorsed or worked for any of the candidates.

That's because he doesn't care who wins the nomination.

His singular, obsessive focus is defeating Barack Obama.

So, knowing Karl Rove is watching, here's my real question:

Can you pitch in to stop him?

El "Plan Mérida" y la "Guerra contra el Crimen Organizado" fracasan en el Distrito Federal de México/ The "Plan Merida" and the "War on Organized Crime" fail in the Federal District of Mexico

______

And "narcotienditas" have been exceeded by the auto parts stores and Bardahl letterhead and other brands of parts where criminals hide and disguise themselves as workers or "owners" of these clubs to sell their poison and attack people because they know that the consumer of cocaine and heroin, usually own a car, for the high price of these drugs and now distributed in these clubs. Front the drug dealing or "ant war" has failed "Plan Merida" and the "war on organized crime" in Mexico City, they do not find it strange that the country wherever there are clashes, arrests and deaths among the military and the drug and the City does not? Is that in the DF no drug addicts? Is that in the DF not living drug cartels when throughout Latin America exist that reality?

To show the failure or "collusion" with the charge of fighting in Mexico City, just a button yesterday was attacked senior citizen Francisco Ortiz Segura by criminals for a couple of them claimed the cynical sale drugs to a minor grandson, so treacherous way and kicked and spat on the ground, then as cowards who are hiding in the auto parts and auto mechanics found in the corner of Av. Centenario and San Sebastian, Vasco de Quiroga colony in the Gustavo A. Madero, ignored the complaints that have been done and not proceed against these cynical or are being investigated. How long you can expect to finish the simulation has already 50,000 dead?

Dear citizen:

Because you and I don't have a lot of chances to have dinner together, I hope you'll take advantage of the one that's coming up this fall.

So if you've been sitting on this, now's the time to toss your name in the hat:

https://donate.barackobama.com/Dinner

I like these dinners not just because I get to hear from supporters like you, but because they're part of what makes our organization different.

Other campaigns save seats at the table for special-interest PACs and Washington lobbyists -- and you can see the effects in the decisions they make and the priorities they set.

Our campaign rejects all contributions from Washington lobbyists, and we refuse all money from corporate PACs. That means we're accountable only to the people, not special interests.

Instead, we're relying on millions of people like you giving just $3 or whatever you can pitch in.

Hope to see you soon:

Thanks,

Barack

Barack Obama

Mario --

Today I asked for a joint session of Congress where I will lay out a clear plan to get Americans back to work. Next week, I will deliver the details of the plan and call on lawmakers to pass it.

Whether they will do the job they were elected to do is ultimately up to them.

But both you and I can pressure them to do the right thing. We can send the message that the American people are playing by the rules and meeting their responsibilities -- and it's time for our leaders in Congress to meet theirs.

And we must hold them accountable if they don't.

So I'm asking you to stand with me in calling on Congress to step up and take action on jobs:

http://my.barackobama.com/Time-To-Act

No matter how things go in the weeks and months ahead, this will be an important challenge for our organization.

It's been a long time since Congress was focused on what the American people need them to be focused on.

I know that you're frustrated by that. I am, too.

That's why I'm putting forward a set of bipartisan proposals to help grow the economy and create jobs -- that means strengthening our small businesses, giving needed breaks to middle-class families, while taking responsible steps to bring down our deficit.

I'm asking lawmakers to look past short-term politics and take action on that plan. But we've got to do this together.

I will deliver this message to Congress next week, but I'm asking you to stand alongside me today:

http://my.barackobama.com/Time-To-Act

More to come,

Barack

Barack Obama invite you

Dear American Citizen --

The President and I have a routine -- we get lunch together almost every Friday.

But all I get is lunch. You could be one of four supporters to have dinner with him soon.

Donate $5 or more today to have your name automatically thrown in the hat here:

https://donate.barackobama.com/Dinner-with-Barack

I'm reminded every week that sitting down for a meal with the President of the United States -- without TV cameras or a big crowd -- is something only a few people will ever get to do.

You're not going to want to miss this chance.

I wish you luck,

Joe

Barack Obama and 2012

2012
Mario --

I want to show you a quick presentation I've been giving to the first staff coming on board here in Chicago, outlining our strategy to win and our overall approach to this campaign.

In the weeks and months to come, we'll ask grassroots supporters like you to meet with one another and local organizers to take the first steps to victory on November 6th, 2012.

But before we begin meeting in living rooms and backyards across America, it's important that we communicate with each other about a set of principles for the organization and our overall strategic thinking about how the race will shape up.

The most important aspect is this: Our campaign will be grounded in President Obama's experience as a community organizer. This notion of ordinary people taking responsibility for the organization at the neighborhood level is not only the way to win, it's also the way politics ought to work. Our campaign will be an example of innovation and efficiency, but it will also be an example of civic engagement at its best and most rewarding.

Have a look at the briefing, then say you're in to help build this campaign:

This plan will evolve as we get feedback from grassroots supporters like you over the weeks and months ahead. That's already happening -- as you know, we've already started the process of having one-on-one conversations with people in every state to gather thoughts and ideas, and thousands more talks will take place over this spring and summer.

But this briefing should give you a sense of our current thinking about how we'll build an unprecedented grassroots campaign to win -- with you leading it.

Thank you,

Messina
